The September product update is here! This month we’re excited to highlight new integrations, more improvements to the Assured Results Method (ARM) and the new Goal Certification Date feature. Read on to learn more about what’s new and what’s coming soon.

Easier management

Zapier Integration

We’ve launched an integration with Zapier to enable organisations working across multiple systems to easily automate and connect even more work into the platform at a fraction of the effort. Zapier lets users easily set up workflow automations, called Zaps, with a series of triggers and actions that automatically pass data between systems. It is all about automating repetitive tasks without any coding necessary, lessening manual work and empowering our customers to do more with less effort.

Updates to Assured Results Method

The latest update to our Assured Results Method (ARM) is designed to help speed up your ISMS implementation even more. ARM can now keep you focused on the steps towards your ISO 27001 certification by displaying the next activity you need to focus on. We understand that implementing an ISMS is often an additional job that many people take on alongside their day-to-day responsibilities. So when you next visit ARM, our new display can help you remember where you left off previously and what you need to do next, guiding you through every linked piece of work.

Target Certification Date

Introducing another new feature to the Assured Results Method (ARM) – the ability to set a target certification date to your ARM timeline. Adding a target date gives your team an action plan, boosts accountability, and helps you steer around any potential roadblocks. This is one of several key changes we’ve made to the Assured Results Method to help you stay on track and achieve certification even faster.

Google Drive Integration

We know that some customers find it useful to integrate ISMS.online with other key business systems. Soon you’ll be able to spend even less time on document management and seamlessly integrate ISMS.online with Google Drive – one of many integrations we are rolling out this year – with SharePoint, OneDrive and Zapier already available to all customers.

Upload documents directly from ISMS.online

It’s more critical than ever to be able to keep files safe, synced between other key systems in your business, organised and up to date. Google Drive integration allows you to quickly access and upload your documents stored in the cloud into ISMS.online. Any changes you make on a document in Google Drive will be automatically updated in ISMS.online which minimises the time you need to spend updating it in your ISMS.

Data Hosting in United States

We’re excited to share that ISMS.online will be expanding its global reach with a new data hosting capability in United States. This exciting development is aimed at organisations that operate within the US data regulations and need to meet ISO 27001 or other common cybersecurity frameworks such as SOC 2 or NIST.

So, how can our customers benefit from local hosting?

Data localisation is now a fundamental part of doing business in many parts of the world. Local hosting provides a secure environment for our customers’ data and helps to meet their US data residency and compliance needs. This move will offer the added assurance of data sovereignty, something we know is important to many of our customers. It also means ISMS.online will be even faster for our North American users!
