We are proud to be selected for Tech Nation’s Upscale 7.0

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been recognised by Tech Nation as one of the UK’s Leading Scale-ups and asked to participate in its Upscale 7.0 programme!

Upscale 7.0 is a six-month programme curated by Tech Nation and designed to support the UK’s most promising tech companies to accelerate their growth. It is truly an honour to be in such fine company as our fellow cohort members.

This is the second time we’ve been invited to take part in a programme by the UK network for tech entrepreneurs. We were also in the cohort for the network’s inaugural cybersecurity growth programme, Tech Nation Cyber, in 2019.

Tech Nation’s faith in our proposition is a real boost and validates our confidence that we’re steadily holding our front runner position in a rapidly growing governance, risk and compliance market. We know we’re the most practical, easy to use and comprehensive path to privacy, information & cyber security success, but it’s always nice to have that vision acknowledged a third party; particularly one with Tech Nation’s gravitas.

Tech Nation is both publicly and privately funded, with around 80% of its funding coming from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the rest generated by sponsorships or paid-for educational programmes. This hybrid funding structure provides the perfect combination of government clout and the kind of commercial and operational insights that sponsors bring to the table. Upscale 7.0 is sponsored by some real heavy hitters – global law firm Cooley, accountants and business advisors Cooper Parry and Silicon Valley Bank.

But beyond the practical value and insight that a programme like Upscale 7.0 brings us, affiliation with Tech Nation reflects the way we like to do business. The network’s values of ‘honesty, intimacy and trust’ and its ambition to positively transform societies and economies is also in our business purpose.
